NOHVA Show and Swap Meet a Big Success

An estimated 3,000 people attended the first annual NOHVA Show and Swap meeting in Columbus on February 1st. The event was sponsored by Curry Bros. Motorsports in Columbus.

Admission to the event was open free to the public, and show and swap meet spots were open free to NOHVA members. Nine dealers had displays at the event. About 30 members had swap meet and show spots, and about 20 non-members had spots for the swap meet. NOHVA had a spot at the door that featured information about our organization and had t-shirts, hats and sweat shirts for sale.

Others in attendance at the event included Dan Kleen, president of the National Off Highway Vehicle Conservation Council and members of the Iowa OHV Association. Thank you Dan Kleen for attending our event!

Also thanks to the Zabka family for helping with the event and to Randy Henderson of Curry Bros. Motorsports for sponsoring the event. Curry Bros. Received a plaque to show our appreciation for their involvement advancing ATV and dirtbike recreation in Nebraska.

Trophies were given out to those who had entered the ATV and dirtbike show. Those winner include:

Best Modified ATV: Eddie Gappa Yamaha Banshee

Best Sport ATV: Justin Stenger Suzuki Quadzilla

Best Utility ATV: Justin Stenger 450 Honda Foreman DS

Best Dirtbike: Harold Wadell, Suzuki GS-1100 and Honda CR-500
