NOHVCC TO HOST PRIVATE OHV PARK & TOUR OPERATORS CONFERENCE
NOHVCC will be hosting a first-ever gathering of individuals interested or
involved in private OHV parks, OHV tour operators, OHV guides, and related
ventures.
The purpose of this gathering is to share information related to the
challenges and opportunities faced by this growing segment of the OHV
industry and to form a working relationship among like-minded individuals in
order to facilitate the continued expansion of all OHV riding opportunities.
This “Mini-Conference” will be held in conjunction with the 15th annual
NOHVCC and National OHV Program Managers Conferences, March 17-20, 2005 in
Ontario, CA.
Who should attend?
· Private OHV park owners or operators, or those who are considering
starting one
· Motorcycle, 4x4, or ATV Tour Operators and/or guides
· OHV advocates in areas where private land may be the most likely option
for riding
· Any land manager or OHV entrepreneur who has an interest in the operation
and management of a commercial OHV park or tour operation
Topics that will be offered for discussion include:
· Identify the industry – who, what, where
· Insurance and liability reduction and mitigation
· Marketing
· Successful business models & success stories
· Should a new national “association” be formed?

The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) is a publicly
supported, educational foundation organized for the sole purpose of
promoting safe, responsible, family oriented off-highway recreational
experiences. We are a forum for organizations and supporters of OHV
recreation, including OHV manufacturers, related businesses, affiliated
foundations, OHV dealers, clubs and enthusiasts, to become partners in
