New NOHVA Chapter Approved

A group of Omaha area ATV and Dirtbike riders have formed a group and have become a new chapter of NOHVA.  The name of the group is the Eastern Platte Valley OHV Club. 

 

Elected as club president is Michael Carrick of Waterloo.  Elected as Vice President is Rich Lincoln of Omaha.  Elected as Secretary is Chris Grace of Omaha.  Chapter IT Officer: Tim Songster Sr.

 

The new chapter will serve the interests of recreational ATV and Dirtbike enthusiasts living in the far eastern Nebraska area including but not limited to Metro Omaha, Blair, Fremont, Weeping Water and Nebraska City area. 
 

Eastern Platte Valley OHVC Objectives;

1.  Locate, design and build an OHV park somewhere by the Platte or Elkhorn river valley system. 
2.  Promote the NOHVA organization as in fundraising events and raffles etc. 

3.  Inform and educate new and existing members of exactly what our organization does for us, along with teaching other aspects of taking care of what we have for places to ride.   

4.  Promote more "Ride and Work Detail Programs" with NOHVA and other clubs that are in close proximity to our riders. 

5.  Focus on youth riders to teach them safe and proper ways to ride and to show respect for the outdoors.

 

The next meeting of the club will be held on June 28th at 11 AM at the Elkhorn Commons in Elkhorn (western Omaha).  For more information contact Michael Carrick at  mikey@nohva.com
