Minor Release Instructions For the NOHVA
Jamboree
Are you under 19 years old and plan to
attend the Jamboree? Since the legal age of majority in Nebraska is 19 years
of age, this means that under State of Nebraska law those who are under 19 years old cannot
legally sign a contract or release on their own behalf. Nebraska
is one of only four states in the nation who do not recognize 18 year olds as
being an adult.
THOSE UNDER 16 MUST BE WITH A PARENT OR RESPONSIBLE ADULT THE
WHOLE WEEKEND.
