Minor Release Instructions For the NOHVA Jamboree

Are you under 19 years old and plan to attend the Jamboree? Since the legal age of majority in Nebraska is 19 years of age, this means that under State of Nebraska law those who are under 19 years old cannot legally sign a contract or release on their own behalf.   Nebraska is one of only four states in the nation who do not recognize 18 year olds as being an adult.

THOSE UNDER 16 MUST BE WITH A PARENT OR RESPONSIBLE ADULT THE WHOLE WEEKEND.

MEMBERS, NON-MEMBERS AND EXPIRED MEMBERS - ANYONE WHO IS UNDER 19 YEARS OF AGE AND WHO PLAN TO WATCH OR PARTICIPATE IN THE JAMBOREE  MUST HAVE A NOHVA MINOR RELEASE SIGNED BY THE MINOR AND THEIR PARENTS.  This applies to all those who wish to participate or watch any or all of the events, including Genoa residents under the age of 19

If you attend the Jamboree and are under 19 years old and you are with your parents at the jamboree, then simply go to the sign up tent WITH your parents and complete the release!  Membership applications are available at the tent or download and complete our membership application and take it to the sign in tent.
